Coleman Partners Architects, LLC has been in continuous practice since 1949 when Robert M. Coleman, Jr., our founding partner, began his architectural practice. In the mid-1970's, Robert M. Coleman III, returned to Baton Rouge from Atlanta to join his father and the firm name became Robert M. Coleman Architects, AIA. For the next 15 years the firm matured, as the scale and complexity of commissions grew. In January of 1990, our founding partner retired and the firm, Coleman & Partners Architects, AIA was founded. The partners included:
- Robert M. Coleman, III, AIA
- Dale M. Songy, AIA
- Gary Gilbert, AIA
- Marvin R. "Buddy" Ragland, AIA
Under this leadership, the firm continued to expand and diversify in the type of design commissions undertaken, providing architectural, interior design and master planning services to a myriad of clients on many project types including Commercial, Medical, Institutional, Hospitality, Educational, and Religious facilities. In 2006, the firm opened a branch office in Houston, TX, and in 2013 another branch office in New Orleans, LA. In 2009, the name was changed to Coleman Partners Architects, LLC.
In 2014 longtime Associates, Joe Saffiotti and Wendy Lee were invited to become partners in the firm.
- Joe Saffiotti, AIA
- Wendy Lee, AIA
While the six partners continue to manage the firm's direction, Associates have been added to the management team. These Associates include:
- Jonathan Heltz, AIA
- Chris Haslitt, AIA
- Brent Guilbeau, AIA
- Jennifer Romero, ASID
Today, Coleman Partners Architects, LLC is a full architectural design firm that provides design services for local, national and international clients by setting a high priority on design and client service.
