Renovations to the Westin St. John
Coleman Partners was commissioned by Starwood Vacation Ownership to perform Architectural, Interior Design, and Engineering services to completely revamp various Public Spaces at the Westin St. John. For the Lemon Grass Restaurant, the primary change was to take the existing open air restaurant and convert into a restaurant that could be enclosed and conditioned for the warmer periods of the year, but open during the cooler months. A white fabric curtain was placed over the center dining area to provide a more intimate space and to screen some of the more unpleasant views above this area. A series of doors with turtle compliant glass were placed around the perimeter of the space that can all be opened during the cooler months. Colors and materials were brought into the Westin Brand Standards. A private dining room was added, separated from the main dining area by white fabric curtains. For the main Lobby, a new front desk area featuring individual check in kiosks was added along with a new illuminated back wall. All finishes, lighting and furniture were replaced.
