Renovations to Four Seasons Nevis Cabana Resturant
Coleman Partners was requested to solve a problem at the Four Season's Cabana Restaurant that was hurting the cash flow at the restaurant. The restaurant was originally designed as a covered open air facility. The original design was a series of Octagons, with certain portions left open. The openings in the roof allowed rain to penetrate into the dining areas, making the restaurant have to close if rain was expected. The challenge was to design a new roof which respected the complicated geometry of the existing roof, but would provide protection from the rain for all seats in the restaurant, while maintaining an open and airy feeling.
