In conjunction with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana, a 225 room All Suites Hotel, The Iberville Suites, has been created to provide guests with a spacious affordable home in the Vieux Carre (French Quarter). The hotel is located discreetly at the rear of the Ritz Carlton on Iberville Street. Guests enter the hotel through a street lobby on the first floor and are immediately transported to a second floor lobby that is designed to reflect some of the bawdiness and free wheeling fun of nearby Bourbon Street. The Hotel is separately managed by the Ritz Carlton Hotel Co. The project was developed with the approval of the New Orleans Historic Landmark Commission, the State of Louisiana, Division of Historic Preservation, and the Federal Department of the Interior, Historic Guidelines.
