Louisiana Digital Media Center is Phase II for the LSU Research and Technology Foundation Campus near the southeast entry to the LSU Main Campus in Baton Rouge, LA.
The Digital Media Center is a 94,000 sq ft facility designed for startup businesses within the digital media market. Initial tenants for this facility include LSU’s Center for Computation and Technology Department (CCT), the Arts, Visualization, Advanced Technologies and Research (AVATAR) program and EA Sports’ Quality & Assurance facility. The design incorporates a state-of-the-art multi-room conference center with high-definition, multi-media, audio/visual projection, wireless internet connectivity, and distance learning capabilities. Also there is a 200 seat, extensive, highly specialized computer audio-visual auditorium which will use the very latest in projection technology and is one of its kind in the Southeast U.S.
