Jennifer Romero has been a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Billings, Montana, and received her Bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana State University in 2003 with a minor in Construction Management. Before graduation, Mrs. Romero held student intern positions with Design Place Interiors and Coleman Partners, Architects, both in Baton Rouge. Upon graduation, she accepted a position at Coleman Partners Architects, and since 2006, is recognized as the Head of the Interior Design Department.
Jennifer Romero participates on design teams from schematic design phase through occupancy. She and her team work closely with clients to establish design concepts and code compliant interior spaces, as well as finalize selections & specifications of FF&E and interior finishes in public & private areas meeting the owner’s timeline and budget requirements. Mrs. Romero is experienced in coordinating efforts between owners’ representatives and consultants to develop interior layouts, ensuing in a cohesive design for the end user. Mrs. Romero is heavily involved in the presentation and procurement of Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment for all project types.
Mrs. Romero has dealt with architectural and interior design projects with diverse clientele, design, and engineering consultant teams both nationally and internationally. As a professional member of IIDA, Mrs. Romero continues her education in interior design by frequently attending seminars offered in her field, allowing her to integrate innovations in design into current projects. She also takes part in design juries and student mentoring for Louisiana State University's Department of Interior Design.
