Opened in October of 2000, the Maison Orleans was originally opened as a stand-alone 75-guestroom Boutique Hotel in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana, located adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The Ritz-Carlton eventually purchased the Maison Orleans Hotel, and it became their exclusive Maison Orleans Club Level. The club level underwent interior renovations to both guestrooms, suites, and club lounge in 2024. The project involved obtaining historic tax credits on both the historic Maison Blanche Building as well as the adjacent historic Kress Building.
Maison Orleans Club is meant to give the exclusive guest a unique experience separate from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. With its own secret entrance, the Maison Orleans Club Level consists of a dedicated Club Concierge and Lounge along with 74 guestrooms and a private club suite. The furniture and finishes in both the Club Lounge and the guestrooms and suite were selected to enhance the classic interior architecture with a contemporary eclectic feel.
