Coleman Partners Architects, LLC is a full-service architectural and interior design firm that has been in continuous practice since 1949. Today, we provide design services for local, national, and international clients by setting a high priority on design and client service.
An Evolving Family Story
In 1949, Robert M. Coleman, Jr. began his architectural practice.
In the mid-1970’s, Coleman’s son returned to Baton Rouge from Atlanta to join his father, and the firm name became Robert M. Coleman Architects, AIA.
The firm matured over the next 15 years as the scale and complexity of commissions grew.
In January of 1990, our founding partner retired and the firm became Coleman & Partners Architects, AIA.
In 2006, we opened a new branch office in Houston, TX, and another one in New Orleans, LA, in 2013. This brings our current footprint up to three prominent locations in the Gulf South, and from here we’ve been able to reach all around the country — and even the world.
In 2009, we took on the name you know today: Coleman Partners Architects, LLC. We’ve been in business for nearly a century — and we look forward to serving your needs for decades to come.
Community Engagement
To help organize and prioritize the effort of sustaining the beauty, civility and quality of life in our neighborhood, city, state and region, our firm established “CP LOVES” as part of our overall “CP PLANS – PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT” program – an employee enhancement initiative to encourage involvement in our community.
Since 2015, the firm has volunteered significant resources of time, talent, and treasure in support of numerous non-profit, non-governmental and faith-based organizations. Below is just a sampling of some of the area organizations we support.
