Teach Heal Discover

More than a building, the Center for Medical Education responds to need for creating sustainable economic growth in North Louisiana, while improving the overall health of the region. This facility moves the client into a new frontier and affords them the opportunity to become a national leader in research and discovery to enhance lives regionally and globally for generations to come.

The iconic design provides a central hub, the heart of the campus, connecting the Schools of Medicine, Allied Health, and Graduate Studies into a single, unified campus. The transparency and flexibility of interior design provides for “medical education on display” and interprofessional collaboration between faculty and students.

“The Center for Medical Education is a bold venture and one of the most impactful and visionary projects taken on by LSU Health Shreveport since the medical school began over 50 years ago. This transformative endeavor is critical to a brighter future for LSU Health Shreveport and the community it serves.” – Armand Roos, LSU Health Sciences Foundation – Chairman of the Board
